Until March 2027, JSC#nbsp;MC Arkhyz plans to#nbsp;fulfill an#nbsp;investment project to#nbsp;develop a#nbsp;ski resort for the four seasons tourist and recreational resort Arkhyz on#nbsp;the territory of#nbsp;a#nbsp;special economic zone established in#nbsp;Zelenchuksky municipal district of#nbsp;the Karachay-Cherkess Republic.

  • Total area of#nbsp;trails: 122 hectares.
  • Total trails capacity: 43,606 people/hour.

The project is#nbsp;structured within the framework of#nbsp;the decrees of#nbsp;the Government of#nbsp;the Russian Federation No.833 ‘On the creation of#nbsp;a#nbsp;tourist cluster in#nbsp;the North Caucasus Federal District, Krasnodar region and the Republic of#nbsp;Adygea' dated 14 October 2010 and No.1195 ‘On special economic zones in#nbsp;the North Caucasus Federal District' dated 29 December 2011, the decree of#nbsp;the Government of#nbsp;the Russian Federation dated 20 September 2019 on#nbsp;the strategy of#nbsp;tourism development in#nbsp;the Russian Federation until 2035.

The implementation of#nbsp;the Arkhyz project is#nbsp;designed to#nbsp;increase the attractiveness of#nbsp;the ski resort for the target audience, as#nbsp;well as#nbsp;to#nbsp;attract more inexperienced skiers.

Under the project activities, GREEN team conducted a#nbsp;financial and technical audit of#nbsp;the project, including review of#nbsp;legal, planning and building permits and design documents, assessed construction schedule and funds sufficiency budgeted for the project. The key risks of#nbsp;project implementation were identified with regard to#nbsp;the applied technological solutions.
