On May 17, Nikolay Zakharov, Executive Director of GREEN, took part in a meeting of the Russian-Tajik Business Council within the framework of the XV International Economic Forum "Russia — Islamic World: KazanForum 2024".
The meeting was dedicated to new prospects for cross-border partnership between Russia and Tajikistan in the fields of industry and infrastructure. Representatives of federal and regional ministries, business and the expert community discussed existing projects and initiatives and noted the great potential for further increasing mutual trade, as well as the implementation of joint industrial projects.
Nikolai Zakharov: "Today Russia needs to strengthen its position in Tajikistan not only as the main foreign trade partner, but also in the infrastructure sector through mechanisms for multilateral financing of projects, export of equipment, technologies, engineering services and competencies".
