Nikolay Zakharov, Executive Director of GREEN, took part in a meeting of the Russian-Tajik Business Council

On#nbsp;May 17, Nikolay Zakharov, Executive Director of#nbsp;GREEN, took part in#nbsp;a#nbsp;meeting of#nbsp;the Russian-Tajik Business Council within the framework of#nbsp;the#nbsp;XV International Economic Forum "Russia#nbsp;— Islamic World: KazanForum 2024".

The meeting was dedicated to#nbsp;new prospects for cross-border partnership between Russia and Tajikistan in#nbsp;the fields of#nbsp;industry and infrastructure. Representatives of#nbsp;federal and regional ministries, business and the expert community discussed existing projects and initiatives and noted the great potential for further increasing mutual trade, as#nbsp;well as#nbsp;the implementation of#nbsp;joint industrial projects.

Nikolai Zakharov: "Today Russia needs to#nbsp;strengthen its position in#nbsp;Tajikistan not only as#nbsp;the main foreign trade partner, but also in#nbsp;the infrastructure sector through mechanisms for multilateral financing of#nbsp;projects, export of#nbsp;equipment, technologies, engineering services and competencies".
